About Us
Forest Camp grew out of a need for our region's young people to have authentic, nature-based summer programs. Forest Camp's national park location in Prince William Forest Park is the ultimate setting for outdoor exploration, hands-on learning and adventures on trail. Join us for our inaugural Forest Camp session as we bring a new summer experience to Prince William County!
Forest Camp is a program of NatureBridge, a nonprofit organization founded in Yosemite National Park in 1971. NatureBridge connects over 30,000 students and 600 schools each year to the wonder and science of the natural world, igniting self-discovery and inspiring stewardship of our planet. We operate in Yosemite National Park and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in California; Olympic National Park in Washington; and Prince William Forest Park in Virginia.
